Rising Artist Gabrielle Lovelace Unveils Second Single Release on Old Bear Records

Hot on the heels of her debut single, “Somewhere Between,” and drawing from a deep well of poignant lyricism, singer-songwriter Gabrielle Lovelace returns with her second offering on Old Bear Records with “It’s Gonna Be Yesterday.” Listen here: https://sc.lnk.to/gl-IGBY.

Beautifully delivered with her unmistakable vocal tone, Lovelace says of the empathetic new track, “This was an exercise in writing a song to someone and trying to express that I understand what they’re going through.” Although she set out to pen something that could provide comfort to others, the song unintentionally became a companion for Lovelace as she battled the effects of Lyme disease. “At the time, I would go out and put on a brave face with friends, then come home and cry from being in literal pain, having exhausted myself in an attempt to just have a little bit of fun,” she shares. “It was frustrating to feel like you have these people who know you, but there’s still a part of you that feels unseen or incolsolable. I needed a song like ‘It’s Gonna Be Yesterday’ to be that friend for me and to remind me that this wasn’t going to last forever.”

Lovelace hopes the song will be an anthem of resilience that reaches beyond her own story. With “It’s Gonna Be Yesterday,” she extends a hand to anyone who feels unseen, reminding them that even the hardest seasons will one day be behind them.
